Jesús Ivan Lezama

A leader committed to the immigrant community

A Mexican lawyer, a graduate of the Universidad Veracruzana and with a Juris Doctor and LLM in Immigration Law from the National Association for Foreign Attorneys, Jesús Ivan is a pillar in the defense of immigrant rights. With an outstanding career in Mexico and the United States, his passion for justice led him to found the Asylum Department at Hispanic American Community Education and Services (HACES), a non-profit organization, and to obtain accreditation from the United States Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) for immigration processes. Currently, as founder and CEO of IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE SERVICES LLC, Jesús Ivan dedicatedly leads the preparation of immigration documents, providing comprehensive support to the immigrant community with professionalism and commitment.

Empowering our immigrant community with support and solutions

Andrea Barroso

A passionate advocate for the Migrant Community

Co-founder of Immigration Assistance Services, she holds a law degree from the Ibero-American University for Development. With a distinguished career in the Mexican public sector, she has held key roles as a private secretary and administrative officer at the Second District Court of Quintana Roo, an immigration officer at the National Migration Institute, and head of the Legal Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the United States, Andrea has complemented her experience as a paraprofessional at Waukegan High School in Illinois with specialized immigration training through workshops and diplomas. Additionally, Andrea is certified as a Wedding Officiant and Minister, a new service offered by Immigration Assistance Services. Her commitment is reflected in her professional and humane support to the migrant community.
